POV, In your brevity, you have raised a central point about the need for EPO and this forum. DK clearly believes that the stories about Rawat smoking and drinking are lies because in 20 years he has never seen Rawat smoking or drinking. There are premies like you who know he smokes and drinks, but for whom it doesn't matter. For other premies it may matter, but the truth has been deliberately withheld from them. Why should it matter? Because Rawat teaches that he has something that will give a person real peace, and he also teaches the importance of breath. For many people drinking and smoking are clearly incompatible with that message. Those people should be given the information, and a clear choice about whether to follow his teachings. If this view is incorrect, and smoking and drinking are compatible with having a deep inner peace, then Rawat and Elan Vital should clearly state this, instead of not addressing the subject. I notice that the Elan Vital FAQs do not include the questions:- Does Prem Rawat smoke cigarettes? and Does Prem Rawat regularly drink alcohol?
