So if you think it matters what Maharaji smokes, eats, drinks or wears or how he votes, you've missed the point. Of course this is a completely disingenuous comment from POV and proof positive that it is you who is missing the point. It isn't so much that he does any of these things but the extent. Close confidantes who were around for years have reported that he got drunk and abusive on a regular basis. The man has had a stress-induced ulcer. Do you really think that this kind of behaviour is compatible with someone who thinks that he is a master of peace within? Similarly with smoking, a good case could be made that it is not the most "conscious" decision one can make given the health risks. Especially for one who publicly extolls the preciousness of each breath.
