I wasn`t aware that Krishnamurti made any demands on his `followers`. He never encouraged people to regard him that way. Unlike Maharaji.

I know people followed K around to listen and speak with him, and in many ways I can understand the attraction of  that. I saw him myself on his last appearance at Brockwood Park before he died. But the key difference between his style and that of M is that K engaged in direct and open public discussion. He did not lecture devotees or lead a secret sect. Admitedly he had a private life.
