So can you give me even one -- that's right, one -- thing he ever said that was profound?

Whoa! Anger Management is a good movie. Jack Nicholson right ? I`m not here to defend Krishnamurti. I think we have moved on from that right ? He was an interesting player on the stage. That`s all I`m saying. If he don`t work for you, no big deal.

Krishnamurti`s  most famous and profound line is "Truth is a pathless land". Read into that what you will, but it could  be in the context of his teaching, or otherwise. My interpretation is along these lines...

You don`t need to do anything to reach truth. It is or it isnt. Just be honest with yourself. No path, no destination. No destination or goal means no leader or guru can take you there.

The goal of `enlightenment` aka `Knowledge` is a contruct of thought, which is time. It is a goal like any other.... eg fame, fortune, power etc... Just refined a little bit. My understanding of K`s effort was to help people to see this.... to understand how thought constructs goals, and also the role of fear. That`s all.

I found it helpful to read his books when I needed that kind of thing. It made some sense to me.  Ken Wilbur is interesting too. Come across is work ?
