Well, really, Paddy, the only way you think you got what was promised is to never think about it or doubt that you did. Which means you never really know, do you? You just continue to trust. Now, maybe that feels kinda good, and I guess for me it did sometimes, but I found the whole duality of Rawatism (mind/heard, us/World, practice/space out) to be really constricting, dysfunctional, and mostly miserable. But what makes a cult a cult, is you can be completely miserable, and then just trust that it's all perfect and you are so lucky. So, when somebody like "Harry" comes here, full of bile and anger, you have to ask yourself: Is "Harry" experiencing "peace?" |
