I'm not rationalising "the fact that some people ain't ever getting out." I consider it nearly certain that some people who have been long term premies will never stop believing in Prem Rawat. I consider it highly likely that most of the long term premies will continue to believe in Prem Rawat until they die - they've already been premies for 30 years and even in the West that means they will be lucky to live that long again. The history of cults shows that even if Prem Rawat publicly apologised for his sins and claimed he had always been bogus, some premies would continue to believe.

I am not going particularly light on the cult. I am making accurate assessments of the lives of the premies I know. Some of them I don't like and a very small number I despise but that doesn't affect my judgements either.
