Paddy,

On a certain level, it's true, one could easily describe the entire long soray into Maharaji's World as a comic (mis)adventure.  If need be, the worst aspects of the story could be whitewashed, minimized or left right out of the picture.  I think that if it was all over now and Rawat wasn't still living large, exploiting people as fully as possible, if we didn't still have friends, or former friends, caught up in his cult, if we didn't feel it necessary to counter his gross and insulting revisionism, it might be a bit different here.  We might just laugh off a lot of what happened.

But this is a bit of a PR war.  We try to tell the truth about Rawat and we get back threats, insults and outrageous defamation (have you seen the website they've put up about me, for instance?).  I'm sure a lot of people had a lot of fun being premies at times.  I had many happy moments too, I must admit.  But it's like I told Raja Ji when he asked me if I'd been happy all those years in the ashram, that's not the question, the question is whether or not it was true, whether or not my being there was based on anything even close to truth.  The answer is that it wasn't.  I was had, dedicating my life to bringing the world to the feet of Guru Maharaj Ji.  Funny?  Yeah, kind of.
