Good point.  This happened a lot.  For example:  the cult had health food stores and ashram premies worked there for almost no money.  For the rest of us in the ashrams, we worked to support them and we considered that "service" in the sense that the cult businesses could thrive paying slave wages.

Anyhow, some people got rich off those stores, eventually.  I wonder if they acknowledge either the slaves, or those of us who supported the slaves?   I can think of such situations in Chicago, Denver and some other cities as well.
