David was a zealot premie way beyond the way most of us were, even in our most crazed devotional periods. 

For one thing, David actually believed, and said he believed it, that since he was in service to Rawat, that anything that went through his head was Rawat directing him.  Since he believed Rawat was God, well, eveything David did was being controlled by God and it was right. 

Even then, that completely freaked me out.  As a result, to David the atrocities David engaged in and some of the people he terrorized and abused, was okay, because "God was on his side."

Were have we heard things like that before

It was like all the humility and human compassion went away, and everything was justified because of that, and premies who actually disagreed, were just confused, and should either get with the program, or get out.
