Before I got sent to Miami (and after being in Chicago for 3 years), I had no Summer clothes and I was dreading the ungodly hot Miami weather.  So, my Mom bought me some shorts, 2 IZOD shirts and a pair of Birkenstock sandals.   I was in heaven.  Somehow one of the shirts disappeared before I ever left.  Hmmm.

I don't remember the clothes closet at the Broadripple, but I wouldn't doubt there was one.  I also remember that before Kissimmee in 1979, they went out and bought all these clothes for the ashram premies in Miami (there must have been at least 500 at that time), to wear at the upcoming swamp festival.  Anyhow, they bought these really ugly Puerto-Rican jeans that had leather trim/linings around the pockets and these tacky leather "diamonds" on the butt.  God, they were awful.
