omg guilt tripping is - well I'm over it, go guilt trip a pot plant is what I think these days.  But I remember my relief when given the concept of the sand swirling up when you land on the bottom and soon it will settle and you will see clearly again.  Oh okay, not something wrong with me, will naturally fix with a bit of time.

And of course it did.  Now I am older and wiser and I know that uncomfortable sense of confusion happens when you pick up a new piece of information and it's not sitting well with what you already have.

They are of course right, the mahatmas, the confusion settles fairly fast.  Not because I have resolved it but because I have unconsciously done something that I think is called compartmentalising - like the way a citrus tree deals with a gall wasp.  Fast forward to 27 years later and I have just recovered from the confusion of leaving the cult and I am shocked at what a mess my mind is still in.  Like a citrus tree with a colony of gall wasps.

Taking two incompatible beliefs and putting them together to sort it out one incompatibility after another took a bit of time but it was an enjoyable process after the decades of cult-daze.

Rawat was a pig wasn't he.  Some people just look worse and worse in the rear view mirror.  He's one of them.  My first intimation that he played nasty games on people was from Durga Ji satsang where she talked of him putting chewing gum in his little daughter's hair.
