It could have been the Golden Age but I honestly don't remember - it was so long ago and I have really forgotten so much of my past (thankfully). It isn't old age, it was self-preservation. Too much bad stuff in the past, so I sort of decided to drop everything from the past that wasn't helpful to me in my life. And that included the guru and anything associated with him.

But I do know I had a reaction to the story about him putting gum in her hair. And I didn't understand why Marolyn seemed to think it was ok. It wasn't one of the drips that eventually drove me away, but in hindsight, I do see it as just another crack in the wall.
