I'll answer your question at the end first, Susan. It's a hypothetical question because Maharaji IS a good man. To answer your question hypothetically - yes, hypothetically there are many things Maharaji could do or say which would make me lose my belief that he is a good man. For example, if he did or said things which were clearly aimed at encouraging hatred in people. I want to ask you a question now, three questions in one actually - a trinity of questions! You say that at one time you seriously thought Maharaji was omniscient. You say you are now a Christian. Christians believe Jesus was the "Lord", the "Son of God". Do you believe that Jesus was "God"? Do you believe that God is omniscient? Do you believe that Jesus (during his 33 years on earth, as recorded in the Bible) was omniscient? In other words, do you believe that Jesus knew everything about everyone on the planet, and knew everything about every creature on the planet, and knew everything about every thing on the planet? Do you believe he knew the name of every person in China? Do you believe he knew every word of Chinese? Do you believe he knew what every single person in the world had for breakfast every day? Do you believe he knew every "sin" that was being committed, or was going to be committed, by every single person in Israel, by every single person in the Roman Empire, by every single person in the world? Do you believe that he knew everything that happened in the past? Do you believe that he knew everything that was going to happen in the future - or do you believe that he was just omniscient about the past and present? Do you believe that Jesus was omniscient for all of his life, from birth to crucifixion? Do you believe he was omniscient as a baby, before he was even able to talk? Do you believe that Jesus knew the cure, or best treatment, for all physical and mental illnesses? Etc, etc, etc. Or do you believe that, during his 33 years on earth as a human being, Jesus was not omniscient?
