It seems incredible to believe that Jesus could go around knowing everything. How could he possibly function like that? Knowing EVERYTHING! But maybe you believe that's somehow miraculously possible, and you are entitled to your belief.

But I spoke to one Christian theologian last week, at a University, and I asked him that question: Did he think Jesus, while on earth, was omniscient? And he replied no, he did not think that Jesus was omniscient. He said that God (being all-powerful) choose that Jesus would be a human being, who would function like every other human being, and therefore not omniscient. (And if God is all-powerful then obviously God can choose that Jesus should be that way). This is the theologian's explanation (not my explanation) - one theologian's explanation, I'm not saying every theologian's explanation.

I have no idea who "Joe" is, and I wasn't there when Joe got it into his head that Maharaji is "God", so I cannot really comment about that situation. I will just repeat what I have previously said: Maharaji has not said that he is NOT "Satguru". Maharaji has not said that he is NOT "Perfect Master". Maharaji has not said that he is NOT "Lord".

How do you (and Joe) define "God"? You said you believe that God is omniscient. If that is part of your definition of "God" - if I am to use that definition - then I very strongly believe that Maharaji is NOT "God". But I am very sure that Maharaji is "Perfect Master". I am very sure that Maharaji is "Satguru". I am very sure that Maharaji is an enlightened soul, leading me from darkness to light.
