We can enter teams in the next Olympic Inner Peace and Happiness competition. The Reporter's team of premies fresh from Amaroo 2005 and teams of randomly chosen ex-premies. I'm so confident I'm happier than most premies that I'll even take a huge happiness handicap, I'll pick Jim Heller on my team.

As ex-premies (former followers of Prem Rawat) have largely moved on and gone their separate ways, it would be hard to find a representative group, but the ex-premies I've met all seem pretty happy, and the one thing we agree on is that we are very happy to have made the decision to leave Rawat. The exhiliaration of regaining the freedom of our minds, and the relief at rejoining the human race as an ordinary person - not someone who has the special secret to life - are experiences that Reporter cannot imagine, and therefore does not even recognise, let alone believe.

So the premise of Reporter's post is simply wrong. Ex-premies are not wallowing in anger and misery. Sure there are probably ex-premies who are suffering, but if Reporter is honest he will admit that there are premies who live sqalid, unhappy, lives.

Hey, I've even met Jim Heller, and he comes across as a very happy guy (well who wouldn't with such a wonderful partner!).

John.
