Reporter,

First of all, ex-premies take responsibility for their part in believing Rawat, but Rawat must take responsibility for his part in encouraging that belief. Don't you agree?

Mandela forgave his enemies when they accepted that what they had done was wrong. When Rawat admits the truth of the information on EPO (or corrects any inaccuracies), and accepts his part in the pain that was caused to many people, both premies and not, then I may forgive him. Until then, it's my duty to warn others. To not do so would be like Mandela being released from prison, going into exile, and staying quiet about the continuing evils of apartheid. OK, not quite so dramatic, but you get my meaning.

Look, it's not about blame or hatred - it's about truth. Rawat and premies are lying about the past, and the present. You know this. I know it. Others deserve to know it. Being an online ex-premie, and having met a few others, I know we are driven by the need to speak the truth. We are not driven by hatred. We are not looking for somone to blame, just trying to get people, particularly Rawat, to accept their part in what has happened.

You ask "Where's the joy?". I must admit that doing the right thing isn't always joyous, but there is a good feeling deep in the heart that comes from trying to be as truthful and honest as I can (you should try it one day when writing here). My joy comes from the other 95% of my life, like looking out of the window and seeing the sun on the autumn leaves still on the trees, seeing deer come out of the forest to graze on my fields, being part of the many family reunions that have happened this year, and my love life, details of which I will not publish here!

The joy is in the ordinary, magical, wonderful things of human life.

John.
