the isbn you quoted does not exist, and having not read this book I cannot say.

But you say that he was a religious Christian person and that wrote the book for a Catholic center, then appying Ockahm's razon we should argue:
- He was against any other type of religious experience that was not Catholic
- In his domain of understanding, his ability to comprehend a phenomenon such as "initiation" was somewhat biased.

When you received Knowledge, did you had a feeling of zeal? I didn't. I just walked into a room full of shooless strange people, following my friend, and bang, bang, bang, bang, received K there and then! Those were good times!
