I deliberately left out so many of my opinions that it almost sounded supportive of what they're doing. Nothing objectionable, positive, beneficial, innocuous, highly intelligent, warm beautiful people?* Who wouldn't want it?

Insidious and deceptive as their efforts are (from my perspective), I am praising the cult. It found a way to spread its ostensible "message of peace" while at the same time making it nearly impossible to criticize without sounding crazy. Imagining the polish and outward credibility of the well-prepared premies who pitch and facilitate the program, there's probably nothing that would trigger any suspicions, especially after they hand out an unimpeachable list of references and testimonials.

Of course it's hard for me to watch the (outwardly) reinvented, legitimized cult draw innocent people into Prem Rawat's orbit with so much apparent ease and impunity, but that's what I see unfolding.

Oh well. What you said.
