Thank you Susan, yes chilling is a good word, I have had to think about it a bit just to get over it. I don't know if he's the father or stepfather. But the child stood there quietly enough. idk what he's learning, he would know it's a lie about the cat not having a collar with a bell.
Very much I think it all depends on the child's nature, what he is learning - the tools of his trade like Rawat did? Me, I would see my father stick a barb in a person, I felt a sense of family responsibility and would find a way to pull it out. And I didn't understand until I was a bit older that he was a liar because he said he wasn't.
I think it was 13 who said that about being naive - I can relate!
