Paddy, You are entitled to present the version of DLM that you remember here and it is a perfectly valid one. Thank you for that, but we all have our own unique experiences of the cult. "I don't just suggest we had a choice. I am stating it overtly and unequivocally." This statement assumes that you knew who you were when you made that choice, and that everybody else knows who they are too. But I suggest maybe we didn`t? Is not the individual self merely a fabricated construct ?  When I made the `choice` to ask for Knowledge and follow M, it was because I was led to believe by others that my true self was God.... and God would be revealed to me by M. That was the deal back then. Crazy I know. I now take full responsibility for my mistake and I don`t blame anyone else ... including M. But it took a while to unravel it. Dave
