You've taken the trouble to quote Lexy so read what she said carefully. She asks the question of how much of it was our choice, but then says '... once we had been convinced... (Rawat was the Lord).... we had no choice'.

That's a very big 'once' that you seem to have ignored. Also, it didn't apply to you, did it?
