I am a staunch believer in being out front and open about things.  Apparently, Wikipedia and it's editors are not.  The set-up of that website is so complicated by thousands and thousands of links to not only other pages on that website, but word definitions, that it's nearly impossible to keep track them all.

Today, as I was reading the final edits of the "Prem Rawat" article, and especially the "Criticism of..." article I discovered some interesting things.

There's a person named "Gary D" who took over the editing of the entire series of Rawat articles. I wondered where he appeared from (and why) when he did take over the article.  As a seasoned Wikipedian Gary D created a deadline of October 5th for the "Criticism of" article.  I became curious about this person so I clicked on his name which gives a short description of him.  Being ever more curious, I clicked on the GaryD "Talk Page" and discovered this:

Notice the bottom of this page where there's a legal notice to Gary D by a law firm by the name of Law Office of Lavely & Singer PC, from LA.  There's no explanation of why this message was posted to Gary D. by the law firm, so it may be completely unrelated to the Rawat articles.

Further, while some ex-premies were attempting to be included in the writing/editing of the Rawat articles (now there are several ancillary articles about Rawat, The teachings of Prem Rawat," the "Techniques of Knowledge," etc.) I discovered something else quite interesting.  The very same folks who have been editing the Wiki articles about Rawat have also been writing another article called "Cult."  I suppose those of us who were interested in the topic could have clicked deeper into Wikipedia links to find this out.  But, no one ever mentioned that the writing of this controversial article was going on at the same time the Rawat article was being written and edited with the word "cult" in it.  And yes, even Jossi is involved, as well as the person who is a Moonie.

Here's the link to the "Cult" talk page:

Draw your own conclusions.
