Maybe I'm reading too much into it but when Gary scoffed at Geraldo and Moore as examples of investigative journalism, an obvious straw man argument, it struck me that he, too, has something that he cherishes, some belief of some kind, that simply won't bear up under close scrutiny.  Of course he chose to not respond to that observation.

I don't know who's right about those Wiki guys.  Maybe they are sincere NPOV'ers with their already admitted interests and that's as far as it goes.  Maybe there's some stronger EV bias in the background they're not disclosing.  Hard to tell.  I have found Gary a bit more reasonable than Zappaz and Richard but not by all that much.  His being undecided about the divinity claims is kind of weird.
