I remember a few years ago, sitting with my wife and our daughter ( then aged about 25 ) and her boyfriend in their new home. We were having a pleasant conversation and for some reason I smiled and mentioned that when we were their age we were heavily into cults, though we didn`t view it that way at the time. I was not embarrassed in the least to discuss this but the look on my daughters face was one of total shame and embarrasment. Needless to say, I quickly dropped the subject.
