I didn't say that people can't have nice experiences in meditation, mostly relaxation/calmness, etc., but to get HIGH from that, you have to interpret into some kind of belief system and you get high off the belief, NOT the experience.  I can't speak for you, but for me at least, that was always the case.

What Rawat offers to those who say they experience "love," or a "high" or "such a beautiful experience," isn't meditation, it's a whole system of belief and worship that can, on occasions, make people feel they have found "it," and that can make them high (for brief periods).

This is why people fly around to see Rawat.  He reinforces the belief, as does the audience of other true believers.  You can get a temporary "high" from that.

So, bottom line: I never said there aren't "experiences" you can get from doing meditation.  But I doubt very much that an "LSD-high" is one of them.
