Of course I never said that there wasn't any "experience" from doing the techniques.  There is an "experience" in doing anything.  But the "experience" that people associate with something positive, or "cosmic" or "LSD-like" comes from concentration on something, and it wouldn't have to be the blood running through your thumbs in your ears, or whatever you see when you squeeze your eyeballs.  My point is that there is nothing special about WHAT is being concentrated on, except that with the techniques there is all kinds of conditioning and a whole belief system that says the experience you have is more profound and somehow better than concentration on something else.

So, the "experience" of those techniques are just the techniques, the rest is what happens with a concentrated mind, which isn't inherent to the techniques. 

That's why most of the time when people do the techniques, they really only do experience the squeezing, blood flow, and breath awareness and not much more.
