Toby,
Moon and SSB show quite a lot of differences with Rawat but also quite a lot of similarities. Moon claims to be the Messiah in the Judeo-Christian tradition.

I now notice for the first time that SSB talks about himself in the third person, like Rawat. But unlike Rawat, SSB is very clear and consistent about his claims of personal divinity.

"Shiva said that they would take human form and be born in the Bharadwaja lineage, thrice: Shiva alone as Shirdi Sai Baba, Shiva and Shakthi together at Puttaparthy as Sathya Sai Baba, and Shakthi alone as Prema Sai, later." from SSB's disourse in 1963 http://www.sathyasai.org/discour/1963/d630706.htm

"This is a human form in which every divine entity, every divine principle, that is to say, all the names and forms ascribed by man to God, are manifest. ... " (1968) http://www.sathyasai.org/discour/1968/d680517.htm
