Maharaji really did seem to love doctors - the prestige or something. I lived with Dr Henry in the early days and he was my doctors for years when I was a premie.
I also lived with a Dr Tony who was the house father of our little "pre" ashram (I lived in and out of ashrams and pre-ashrams and community houses etc). Dr Tony decided for some reason that bread was unhealthy so he banned it from the house. I hated that because I love bread.
The other doctor MJ really, really loved though was a psychiatrist, Dr Chris. He was made an instructor very early in the game, and I am sure it was because being a psychiatrist really impressed MJ. I used to set up Dr Chris' knowledge sessions for him and was basically his assistant in those days. Later I became an instructor myself - during the part-time instructor phase, and before he turned around and fired us all.
But yes, MJ really did have a thing for doctors. And there seemed to be a lot of them around as premies in those days.
