Yes, that's the guy. He was not a bad guy but very much in thrall to the guru, as we all were at the time. I think all of these docs were just as confused as the rest of us were at the time. They seemed to jump on any premie fad as well. Dr Henry was diagnosing lots of premies with chronic fatigue and hypoglycemia because they were the trendy illnesses. Dr Chris was big on the meds and not so much on the talk therapy. Dr Tony was just a food and diet faddist at the time. They might have outgrown these things, I haven't heard from any of them for over thirty years. And, as were most of us, they seemed really sincere. |
