When discussing the 'master/devotee' relationship.... shouldn't the 'master' prove worthiness? Shouldn't the object of devotion display some appreciation and provide some extraordinary form of ability deserving of one's devotion?

If not then one may as well devote themselves to a cockroach. For, if the object of devotion needn't reciprocate in some like manner, then this 'relationship' is one way.

If so, I would love to hear how m deserves anyone's devotion much less attention? What has m done to display "guilessly' HIS devotion to his devotee? What? We have read here and some of us have first hand experience dealing with m to know that he wouldn't know one of his devotees from a crowd. He certainly displays no compassion nor care or concern for his own followers.

To me, devotion is a two way street. Even in a teacher / student relationship... the teacher invests time with the student. The relationship is not from afar, but quite personal. In the world of m, the relationship is based on the imagined closeness of m with a follower. No real evidence to show familiarity, only the "magical" type of coincidental occurances that only the follower percieves ... and certainly not acknowledged by the so called master.

My dog is devoted to me and I am devoted to my dog. I am his master. However... if I stop feeding or caring for my dog, his devotion will cease and he will seek out someone or something else more worthy of his devotion. For most of us.... we woke up to the fact that our 'master' not only was not 'devoted' to us ..but he didn't even know who we were?

Sorry folks, but there is NO excuse for m! Not if he wants to claim to be the 'master', the 'inspirational' speaker, the LOTU or even our friend!

He FAILED!
