Documentary evidence of "war with the mind"? What, were you thinking "bad thoughts" and they were conflicting with your "good thoughts" and you were writing this down in a journal? Please explain!

Good grief , Paddy ! You obviously didn't listen to satsang or understand anything.

In the seventies we weren't supposed to THINK at all...but constantly meditate and remember Holy Name....it was a commandment that I desperately tried to keep as I zombied around doing as I was told (surrender and service) and giving the reigns of my life to the Lord.I only had fun when I "spaced out" now and again, in desperation.

Things loosened up later.
