Welcome pirjo, I was a premie from 73 to 98/99. I went to all of the festivals and progammes you listed apart from Marbella. And yes, the behind the scenes behaviour with Maharaji is quite unbelievable. Blame is a funny thing. I don't blame Maharaji for getting me into the cult - he was a kid at the time after all, but so was I really so I don't blame myself either. Some have argued that he was a victim too - of his own disfunctional and delusional upbringing. But Maharaji has been an adult for some time now and despite his conditioning does have a lot to answer for. He has seriously abused the trust and love of those who surrendered their power to him. He is a trickster, manipulator and liar. He is not who he pretends to be. Even if he is deluded himself, he still knows that he presents a very different face to the world and premies at large than the one at home. Perhaps that is why he has to drink so much. So I don't really feel blame toward Maharaji. Sometimes I can get very angry at his deception and the toll that has taken on my life and the lives and fortunes of so many talented wonderful people. Most of all now I want for premies, aspirants and the world at large to know the truth so that they can make informed choices about Maharaji and whatever they have got or may get, themselves into.
