Hi Fly !

A long time ago, when we became ensnared by the cult , How much of it was really our choice as Paddy likes to suggest ? I feel that given our ( often) Judeo-Christian  religious backgrounds, once we had been convinced ( and those early premies were fervent and persuasive to a young mind) that the tubby Indian boy was the awaited Messiah (and the Mahatmas knew all the right Biblical quotes to confuse and hook us) and all the other garbage about the purpose of our human body, we had no choice but to join the "mission".Many of us were working class or of indeterminate social group and not, as Paddy suggests, mostly middle class.

Paddy suggests that my horrible experience at the "commune" of a premie renegade had nothing to do with Maharaj Ji but this is incorrect because this " offspring group "( as named in EPO, there were, it seems many of them) was absolutely inspired by Maharaj Ji and his words, even though it wasn't official. As I was new to everything I didn't understand the difference between " official" or otherwise as I was cut off from everything. We used to visit the local community satsang but leave immediately afterwards ( ie. no chit-chat with local premies ). I was told by Willmot/Breathe that if I left this commune I would be "disobeying" Guru Maharaj Ji. There were pictures of the Guru everywhere ( even in the loo ) so I don't need Paddy to tell me that my experience was unrelated to DLM when I know that it was, albeit not on an official level.

P.S. I support Chelsea F.C. simply because I was born there.

"Funny though, I`m only just now getting into cricket for the first time in my life! I find myself fascinated by the `ashes` and watch the test match on channel 4."

It's called "middle-age" Fly ! I have all kinds of ( far worse) symptoms.
