Paddy; Perhaps. My last time at an 'event' was in the early 90's after having left m several years prior. I was troubled actually by the look I saw in many of the 'premie's' faces. Many in fact appeared quite gaunt and sickly looking, which perhaps is due to poor nutrition, and many had a blank cold look about them. There was no "glow" or even a rested or relaxed look on most. In fact, to me, many appeared quite sad or depressed. And this was AT an event with m. Those that I knew had a melancholy look, and while they remained 'nice' and 'friendly' I felt that either they hadn't grown or were stuck. I am not saying that there are no good natured premies.... I am just saying that I agree with you that there was no "special" or unique display of the greatness of m or k... and that if I were a 'new' person coming to this cult, I wouldn't see anything displayed by premies to let me know that this was a 'good' thing to get involved with. Leading me back to my original question > should one judge m & k by the people that are involved? Shouldn't they manifest, at the least, the expression of peace that m claims to be able to offer? Just a question here... you all can correct me if I am being too critical. For me, today, I am enjoying life and have been told that I exude a sense of calmness and understanding and joy. Yet I have not 'practiced' k or been involved with m in a long time. I believe that one's true nature comes out when one is able to live out their life and remain open to new experiences. Something that when involved with m I found was being stifled. |
