should one judge m & k by the people that are involved? Shouldn't they manifest, at the least, the expression of peace that m claims to be able to offerYes, I think it's fair to judge m&K by the people that are involved. In my experience, all the premies that I know are a typical cross section of the types of people that you'd expect to come across in life. There is nothing more or less special about them than non premies.
In my circle of friends, I can honestly say that my non premie friends (especially one in particular) exude more genuine joy and love of life, self contentedness and happiness, than do the premie friends that I know.
One thing about premies, out of the few remaining non-exes that are still around, the ones that I know have quite serious 'issues' and lean on m&k as some of excuse for any bad behaviour of theirs (usually in their relationships). Also they will neglect their families financially in order to pay high registration fees etc. and other costs involved in going to programmes. And this is often unjustifiable in their financial situation, and causes a lot of difficulties in the relationship. I think this reflects very badly on M to on-looking outsiders i.e. their non-premie friends.
Finally, I don't know if it's just the premies that I know, but most of them are a bit strange! I don't mean that in a nasty way either. But really, they are slightly odd, in different ways. May be 30 years of m&k hasn't really helped them at all. That's what it looks like. But there are a few who are just fine, lovely, well balanced people. Thank goodness!
