Good Points-Why don't we ask Rennie for an EPO commentary? | |||

My personal point of view is that Rennie is quite sincere in this new endeavor, at least from his own perspective. I was involved in the NY area and Denver when Rennie made his grand entrance, and I remember that he always had the "big plan" in mind when he would speak...in other words, he saw maharaji as the avatar who would sweep away all darkness, delusion etc, and usher in the golden age single handedly...(of course, with lots of advice from Rennie and sweat from the premies...)....you can read rennie's observations and beliefs in the "Who is Guru Maharaji" book and see that rennie totally believed that quantum changes were just around the corner.... I beleive that rennie should be contacted and interviewed about his past involvement and beliefs concerning maharaji, in a similar vein to the Mike Dettmers online q&a sessions, which proved quite valuable to many premies and ex-premies.... I think if it was done from a sincere and intellectually curious point of view, that was not judgemental, but simply seeking out answers to sincere questions, it would be helpful to all, including rennie... A few Q's I might have, for starters.... 1-Explain how you originally became a premie... 2-What caused you to make the huge claims you did about maharaji at that time? 3-Why did maharaji fail so miserably, in your opinion? 4-Why did you leave? 5-What were your original "drips"? 6-What were some of your personal times with maharaji like? 7-What was the "final drip" in your involvement with maharaji? When and how did you realize that he was not the "perfect master" who would usher in the kingdom of heaven? 8-Did you tell other premies why you left and what your issues with maharaji were? 9-Have you ever had contact with maharji since you left? 10-What would you say to maharaji today? To premies? 11-Don't you have a moral duty to speak out about those days, even if you consider yourself deluded back then, to "set the record straight", both for others and yourself? (if you were deluded, setting the record straight helps others in dealing with their life as well, regarding this issue..) 12-Do you see the value in being totally honest about this issue? 13-Will you post your "journey" and take Q&A's online, if they are honest and straightforward? Do you see the value n this, if it is done in a genuine manner?(for examples, Mike Donner's q&a ere invaluable for many, many people)
I think rennie is sincere, at least in his own mind, although quite grandiose.....why not work with him and get another interesting piece of the puzzle, rather than pre-judge him and alienate him? anyone know how/where to start? thumbs up or thumbs down? |
