What 1 item of advice re cults would give a young person?

I think mine would be, "Never trust a group that insists on cutting you off from the rest of society". Looking back, my salvation was that I remained exposed to the "outside world" and had a basis for comparison, and thus could see how crazy premies actually were. Any group that insists on isolation is suspect for a number of reasons. Neville B
