I also agree with Cynthia on this one.  I think a young person would not see the Rawat cult as "cutting you off from the rest of society."  It just doesn't appear that way, so that probably isn't he best advice.

Of course, they ARE cutting you off from the rest of society, but only the the way they use language, and the "we-have-it-they-don't" kind of cutting off.
