I think that SSB with his large cash has made the Indian society more corrupt. That is a huge cost to the community though I cannot deny the charity projects that he organizes with donations from his followers and the inspiration that he provides to followers to set up charity projects themselves. He probably has to pay the politicians to stay out of jail. Other say that he lost de facto leadership to honchos of the Sathya Sai Trust in the 1990s and that he is now merely their cash cow and puppet. I have to admit that I am speculating a bit but it is a fact that he was and is supported by high ranking politicians who quite often visit his ashram. Btw, I had never heard of Tal Brooke until five years ago and I was unaware of any allegation of sexual abuse. Yes, I had read in the newspaper that he could change himself into a woman but I had dismissed that because I thought that this would be too crazy to be true.
