I was at the LA event (with a smart card) where the intro and Key 1 were shown. No full body search, just the usual going thru metal detectors and someone looking in my purse. I did, at one entrance, have a nazi like experience with an over zealous woman who was upset that I was not wearing my arm band. I slipped it off because I don't like things on my arm, so since I registered at the event, and my smart card was not in the "system" from pre-registering, I had to be 'banded.' Anyway she preceeded to lecture me about having to have it on my arm as I could drop it, and then someone without the techniques could find it, get in and see the knowlegde review, etc. etc. I just looked at her and said, "whatever," and walked in. That was the only time that happened. She was well-programmed for 'service,' protecting the master, etc.
Well, obviously they didn't want any newcomers or ex-premies attending that Knowledge Review (isn't that how they billed it?). My bet would be this is also preventing any ex-premies from crashing the party, and possibly talking back to Rawat in expressions -- something I'd love to do but would never bother with -- you won't see me paying for the chance to tell him off or to spy! LOL!
Without pre-registration, there's no way of knowing the "background" of a premie and their status as a possible ex.
Wow -- arm banded. Too weird. That alone must turn new folks and aspirants off, speaking of which, I wonder how they explain that one away to aspirants? Rawat's paranoia has risen to all new heights to be doing that and explaining to folks how to watch an intro video. Control freak.
And I thought the program in Montreal 1999 was bad!!! Phew...arm bands. That gives me visions of...something...
