I can certainly relate to your aversion to wrist bands. I even hate those name tags they put on you at conferences and other business meetings sometimes, even though they are just for networking. I usually stick them in my pocket. If people want to know my name, they can use that old fashion technology of just asking me.And of course as you say, you are being singled out as a security risk or something at programs. It's kind of like Nazi Germany. Oh wait, we already went through that.
