So, I take it that only people who registered at the event, instead of beforehand, had to be "banded."  Geez.  Why do they have to identify you are having registered that day?  Are you especially suspicious or something because they didn't have time to do a Big Brother background check on you?  It all does sound kind of Nazi-like.

There does seem to be this ridiculous paranoia about somebody seeing the techniques who hasn't received knowledge, as if that is dangerous or something.  I guess that's all part of the facade that it's really something special and exclusive, hence making people think it's significant.  I can remember at Kissimeee we gave people things that looked like credit cards to hand around their necks, but that was just proof that somebody had PAID.

Is the "intro to the keys" something an aspirant would see, or was that just for the premies?
