Hi Another Training Survivor,

I can understand your comparison of EV/Rawat to the Hitler regime although, as others have said here, there really is no comparison.  I also don't think you meant to minimize or demean what Jews and others went through by making your comment.  I think that a lot of folks tend make that particular comparison, sometimes because they have suffered so much emotional pain as a result of a life-damaging event, like being in a mind-controlling cult or child abuse.  Pain is pain, after all.

I used to say to people (not here) that my childhood home was "just like a concentration camp" because I suffered so much at the hands of my "Hitler-like" father.  But, as time has gone by, I've come to understand that even though my pain was so severe and so extreme as a kid, my home in reality wasn't at all like what went on in Europe under Hitler.

Anyway, I hope the responses to your remark don't put you off posting here anymore.  I, for one, would be very interested in hearing about what it was like when you went through those trainings with Rawat.  (Have you already done that and I missed it?)

Warm regards,

Cynthia
