I am sure you will give me a hard time about this Jim, but how about trying to communicate with premies like Jonx by raising the level of arguments above the " I am cleverer than thou " and simple tit for tats? Is that all there is to having eyes wide open, bullying people with 'facts'?  You remind me of Michael Moore. Is he your hero by any chance? I could see you doing a Fahrenheit 9/11 on Maharaji. What do you say?? I am all for honesty but do we have to bludgeon people with it? Like the philosopher says " Every virtue becomes a stupidity and every stupidity becomes a virtue." Ignorance, prejudice, vanity. We are all full of it. No wonder it is said that Man is made of crooked timber. So, I would say that what is 'sad' is the human condition and our seeming inability to rise above it and if Jonx suffers from this he is by no means alone.
