Lesley, who's kidding whom? You didn't read it. You looked at a few sentences, maybe. At most a paragraph or two. We all know that.  And you're totally just imagining things or, worse, making them up, when you say that you think that Trump closed off travel from China because of trade. That's insane. Of course it was because of the virus and, no, it's not hard to look up. Here's the actual executive order: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-suspension-entry-immigrants-nonimmigrants-persons-pose-risk-transmitting-2019-novel-coronavirus/ Your last sentence shows how clueless you are about these recent events: Even the author is only attempting to credit Trump with prescience!  If he knew the virus was coming out of China then and was sufficiently alarmed to want to close the borders, why didn't he warn the world?
