It's the experience WITHIN ME which I have always felt was the most important thing, and, as that has grown, my understanding of the connection between my inner experience and Maharaji has developed.

Having an "inner experience" and presumably a good one, is one thing but having an understanding about this experience and its connection to Maharaji is another matter. Hopefully, this is not another way of saying that you think that whatever good experiences you are having is by Maharaji's grace. I think that even dyed-in-the-wool premies nowadays know that this is not so. If you are saying that you credit Maharaji with your continued growth of understanding and experience, well, personally I might find that lamentable but given your master/student relationship, completely understandable.

I think that experience within me - which is within everyone - is a connection to a superior power.

Conjecture. A belief you have which was told to you about a "superior" power.

It's a connection to something beyond my ego. It's a connection to a creative force within me. There are many different ways you could refer to it. And I suppose I would believe that it is that same superior power that gave Maharaji the gift he has - the gift to lead people from darkness to light.

Sorry but this statement is a virtual definition of religion.

So I think meditating on Knowledge is a direct connection to that superior power within me.

Magical thinking. Well, let's be more precise. The idea of a power within you that is superior to you is not helpful. What you think and how you behave is you. If you experience peacefulness by meditating, then leave it at that. Regarding electricity as being higher than the socket is not useful. I wouldn't attach words like superior, or God, or Truth, because this is all conjecture.

But I never regarded it as like some sort of mobile phone connection to Maharaji! And I don't have all the answers. Many things remain a mystery.

Your core belief is of course what we all used to believe at one time. We believed that we didn't have all the answers but Maharaji did. Based on a fuller appreciation of the facts some of which are presented here and on EPO and the other linked sites, you might also decide to let go of the Santa Claus fantasy. Either way, you have my best wishes.
