It's a shame about the permanent God-consciousness not working out but we've all come to that realisation whether or not we got to transitory God-consciosuness which I certainly didn't though there was that time when I was living in a cabin in the hills and meditating whenever I wasn't sleeping, eating or working on the farm and at night I began to hear this faint music that sounded like it was coming from the trees up the slope and it sounded like it could be Krishna's flute. Now I'm the sort of guy who ordinarily keeps his feet and mind on the ground but this faint, musical, spiritual, flutish tone began to effect me especially as there was nothing to do from sundown to sunup but eat, meditate and sleep.

I finally found out where that ever so faint, ethereal music was coming from when I changed the mantle on the Tilley lamp. A bit embarassing really.

Isn't "fairly happy" a little too low key for bliss?
