The Macgregor apology was posted here, and on a forum run by an Australian premie that has, I believe, ceased to be used. It was not published by Macgregor anywhere else. I believe it has since been copied on an anonymously maintained website that libels a number of ex-premies, including me. If you linked to that site, then it's understandable the link was deleted.

Regarding his apology, if Macgregor was sincere he would have published it somewhere a little less transient. His anti-Rawat articles (not a single word of which he has retracted) were published in prominent Australian newspapers. His apology was not. He also published articles in Indymedia where anyone is free to publish. He did not publish his apology there.

I was in touch with John throughout his legal battles with Elan Vital (Australia) except for when he was silenced by the court, and there is no doubt in my mind that he wrote the apology, and signed the subsequent affidavit, as a result of the legal action and relentless harrassment by Elan Vital, and to get Elan Vital off his back. I have many emails from him that show how his state of mind changed during those times.

Elan Vital may think they have a publicity coup, but all this episode has done is to demonstrate how vicious Elan Vital are in fighting their critics.
