Well I saw the whole healthy man, and I saw the broken man.

I cannot judge him for that because I didn't lose my home, my money, my career, my reputation , my prospects and my friends.

I do respect him, because, although he was stripped of all dignity, he still behaved with decency and generosity and honour on matters outside of his pursuit by the cult.

Hey, Jim, I have no idea how I would react under that kind of pressure, but I'd like to think people would be generous in their judgment if I were persecuted.

Anyway, who amongst us has not behaved badly some time or another in our lives?

I know perfectly well that there is a point under mental torture where I would crack.
