Did you know John very well before he bacame an erstwhile ex-premie and wrote that article about his experiences in the cult?

I'm sure I never met the guy, and so I can't sum up how he copes or feels about all this, but it was clear to me that his "apology" was a cry for help and mercy, rather than any kind of change of heart about what the truth is.

So, that's kind of scary and sickening, and even I am shocked that Rawat would throw all those resources at trying to destroy a human being because he had the audacity to criticize him.  I'm quite sure Rawat doesn't give a toss that somebody might have found out some obscure, confidential, financial information about a "non-profit."  I cannot imagine that cult was damaged in any way. 

No, this was about revenge, retribution, and just plain meanness, and I'm very sorry to say I actually thought I "loved" Rawat when he appears to be capable of such disgraceful, anti-human, conduct.
